| The Flight 1998 |
The project The Flight was about independence and, for the company was a coming of age. Sally Chance and Caroline Daish invited Liam Steel from the British dance company DV8 to collaborate in order to create a big, ambitious work which would match the ambition and maturity of the dancers. Liam asked each dancer to look inside themselves and offer the process of devising the sweet, the assertive and the ugly. Liam was the first guest director to work with Restless. |
The Flight was performed at the Space Theatre as a highlight of the inaugural High Beam Festival of arts and disability in May 1998 |
