The Adelaide Review - December 2000

I find it difficult to explain the distinctive qualities of this special kind of dance that uses the talents of people with a great range of abilities: people with intellectual handicaps and people with some of the most severe physical disabilities. I keep coming back to words like powerful and elemental though many fine dance groups could claim the same description. There is an absence of pretension and excess; there are simplicity and truth. At times it is tough and confronting, but it never seems self indulgent and is never-ever sentimental.
