| Perfect Match 2000 |
Perfect Match is the Restless dancers’ response to the whole love and marriage thing. It’s the morning of Natalie’s wedding. As she sits in her own private space summoning fantasy men, thinking about love, enjoying her own freedom and fending off people who think they know better, Natalie becomes pretty sure that the man with whom she is about to tie the knot is not her perfect match. In 1999, six of the older and most experienced Restless dancers left the Youth Ensemble and became the core of a new ensemble. Perfect Match was their first major new work. They were joined on this occasion by Stephen Noonan and Astrid Pill two experienced performers who had performed with Restless previously. |
Perfect Match was performed in conjunction with Back To Back theatre from Geelong, Victoria. Mark Deans from Back To Back performed his one man show Cow. |
| The performances took place at the Odeon Theatre, Norwood in November 2000. |
