Ingrid Voorendt is Artistic Director at Restless. She is a director and choreographer of performance, and a founding member of performance company Ladykillers. Her recent work includes projects with Ladykillers, Rawcus, Footscray Community Arts Centre, Leisa Shelton, Back to Back’s Theatre of Speed, Patch, Vitalstatistix, The Border Project, a fellowship at the Australian Choreographic Centre and her own work including Babushka. Ingrid is a former associate director of Restless, (1999-2001) directing five works including Precious for the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Arts Festival.
Nick Hughes is Company Manager for Restless. He has worked as an actor, director, writer, artistic director, dramaturg and manager, with a wide range of theatre companies. He has a BA (Drama/Sociology) from Birmingham University. Arriving in Australia from England in 1973, Nick has worked primarily in political and community based theatre. He has taught acting and directing, written 28 theatre scripts and written extensively on community based forms of arts practice.
Gaelle Mellis has designed set and costumes for every Restless work. Her work supports the company's ethos of presenting positive images of young people with a disability. Gaelle has designed for many South Australian companies; including the State Theatre of SA. In 2005 she visited Europe on a Churchill Fellowship studying disability arts organisations
